G-Cloud is a framework agreement managed by Crown Commercial Services (CCS), an executive agency and trading fund of the UK Governments’ Cabinet Office.  It allows suppliers of cloud-based solutions agreeing to the framework to supply solutions and services fronted by the Digital Marketplace catalogue. The CCS role is to improve the governments’ commercial and procurement activities.  Since its commencement in 2012 there has been £6.2bn worth of transactions through the framework with 44% of spend awarded to SMEs’.
